Strong Eye Weekend Reading- January 22nd

A note about these readings... 

Every week I meditate and consult my guides. They lovingly give me a symbol for each sign, which I interpret by looking at the upcoming astrology. 

These symbols are meant for you to interpret for yourself as well!

Turn the symbol over in your mind. Meditate on it. Put an image of it on your shrine. It has a special message that is meant just for you.

Aquarius :: Aquarius Rising

Rainbow Fish. You are glistening and beautiful. Your home is deep in the water where you are radiant and are connecting to the deep waters of your psyche, as you focus on a subconscious transformation. If there is something needling at you, ask yourself, “What is this issue really about, on a deeper level?” By bringing the subconscious issue forward to the conscious mind, you will encourage the transformation you are primed for.

Pisces :: Pisces Rising

Grass shoots. Young and tender blades of grass emerging from the soil. As you emerge from a state of incubation, your focus now becomes connecting with your people. Your attention is on seeking out the others who will support your cause.

Aries :: Aries Rising

Using flint to start a fire. You are focused on your career. How can you get this thing to work? How can you light it up? Attention and persistence are your friends. Remember that you can’t control everything. And it really is better that way.

Taurus :: Taurus Rising

Drinking out of a sacred cup. You are intent on a philosophical and spiritual make-over. Doing the work of defining your values will help the world see you in the way that you want to be seen.

Gemini :: Gemini

Sun spots. You are seeking an intense and transformative union of both spirit and body. Fully merging can lead to explosions. Sometimes explosions are sexy, sometimes they are confusing. You are ready for anything, so go all in. Just remember that if you really want to transform you will have to practice the art of “letting go.”

Cancer :: Cancer Rising

A woven crown of herbs. Your overall focus and attention are on devotional diplomacy. Choose your words with care and empathy. Your strength comes from feeling interwoven with your loved ones. Don’t allow anything (including hurt feelings) to cause you to feel separated. You are worthy of love and remembering this will remind you not jump into defensive mode.

Leo :: Leo Rising

Finding a special stone on the beach. With care, you select exactly what you are looking for. Your attention is on refining what you want. Take some time to journal and get clear about what your perfect world looks like.

Virgo :: Virgo Rising

Sliding down a water slide. Exuberant lover. Do whatever it is you need to delight in your self-expression. You might have to nudge and push yourself to get fully into this state of creativity. Do it! Let go and share yourself with the world through participation in a chosen art form. Don’t even think about holding yourself back from fear of looking foolish. Focus on your desired end result and then relax and have fun.

Libra :: Libra Rising

A gingerbread man. Nostalgic memories may drive your attention to home, childhood, family. It is so right to look back every so often and remember where you came from. It is especially helpful when these memories help you understand why your brain works the way it does now. It’s a time for introspection leading to intense understanding about your core behaviors and beliefs. All of this for the sake of deliberate change and transformation.

Scorpio :: Scorpio Rising

A long white picket fence. Is this image a symbol of a barrier or an aspiration? Maybe it is a clue to help you learn about your mental blocks. Maybe it is a clue to help you learn if the goals you’ve been working toward are still right for you. Only you can decide. Your focus this weekend is on noticing how you’ve constructed your mindset. If rigid thinking is blocking you from evolving, it will become clear now. And you will be rewarded for your efforts because this is an excellent time for change!

Sagittarius :: Sagittarius Rising

Clay beads. You are learning about value and your focus is on how you deal with the material. Like, for example— money. Since you have investigative potential currently, do a little mental inventory about your relationship with money. How many times a day do you think about money? How do you feel when you think about it? And then, going deeper, how do you want to feel? Choose your thoughts accordingly.

Capricorn :: Capricorn Rising

Puffy white clouds drifting across the sky. Your weather report shows a storm of transformation and clear skies ahead. Through the last few weeks, you have been growing in your understanding of your identity. Now, as you move through your day, focus on your objectives. What do you want to accomplish? There’s no room for somber musings or suspicion. Intend for energized, sparky actions and thinking that will allow you to fly as high as you desire to go.

Aquarius :: Aquarius Rising

The flashing, flapping, movement of a bird’s wings. You are a future seeker. Let your daydreams take flight in a way that actually feels productive. Follow your daydreams to learn how high you can fly in your career. Make a practice and ritual out of daydreaming.

Pisces :: Pisces Rising

Floating in the water on your back. You simply need to activate your wanderlust and you will see how uplifted you are. Meditate on how big the world is— how bright and varied different places can be. This meditation will help you feel buoyant and free.

Aries :: Aries Rising

Cutting a path through tall grasses with a knife. You have a current need for depths of knowledge. You have more patience than usual to dig deep and get the whole story. Question yourself. Cut a pathway into your subconscious realm that allows you to learn about yourself and flourish in new understanding.

Taurus :: Taurus Rising

Autumn leaves covering a path. You are composting. Over time, organic materials create fertile soil. Allow change to happen slowly and unobtrusively. Trust in nature to provide the change you are looking for and most importantly— do not rush.

Gemini :: Gemini Rising

The surface of the earth covered with clear quartz crystals. You are surrounded and supported by helping friends. You might be feeling lack, which just means that you are looking through the wrong lens. There is support literally all around you. You just have to reach out for it.

Cancer :: Cancer Rising

Standing in a beam of sunlight in an otherwise dark room. You have been singled out for success. So own it. Owning your success does not mean that you are responsible for anyone else’s lack. This is not a game of musical chairs. There is abundance for everyone.

Leo :: Leo Rising

Fireflies bobbing through the air at dusk. Follow your inner light. You are the only one who can remind yourself that you are great. There is no limit to the unabashed love and honor that you can feel for yourself. Just open yourself up to it. No holding back.

Libra :: Libra Rising

A beach ball swept down the beach by the wind. You are filled with love. Do you know how to access it? Learn to access the feeling of love. Get so good at feeling this feeling that you can call it in at a moment’s notice.

Scorpio :: Scorpio Rising

A shooting star. You are emitting heat and it is being reflected back to you. In your warm state it is easy for you to get in touch with the joyous and childlike part of yourself. Aim to have as much unabashed fun as possible this weekend. No holding back.

Sagittarius :: Sagittarius Rising

A caterpillar creeps along a branch. You are consciously unaware that a great change is coming. But your subconscious mind knows that there is much more in store for you. You must be content with your state of not knowing. Content yourself with the perfection of the moment.

Pisces :: Pisces Rising

Looking into the eyes of a dog. Do what you need to do to feel grounded. You will be able to rise above any personality conflicts at work by remaining loyal, trusting, and focusing on seeing the best in everyone.

Aries :: Aries Rising

A candle burning high on an altar. You are seen. Allow this to feel good. This is what you have been wanting. Reach out for philosophical teachings that confirm your relationship to your own humanity. Clarify your feeling of worthiness.

Taurus :: Taurus Rising

Riding a horse across the greenest field. You are currently the joyful wanderer. As you journey you may discover that you are seeking union. You seek physical union because your soul remembers that you are never alone. Like the horse and rider, you are always in motion and you are always connected.

Gemini :: Gemini Rising

Frog on a lily pad. Somehow, you have transformed. The transformation may have gone unnoticed, so take a moment to appreciate your frog legs. You are no longer a baby tadpole. Cancer :: Cancer Rising

Through this constant practice of stabilization you find that you make a better relationship partner and attract the best qualities from a current or potential relationship partner. It all starts with you. It is a favorable time to begin or deepen a daily meditation practice.

Leo :: Leo Rising

A five-pointed star forged out of brass. Remember that the recognition you seek will materialize fully when you love and admire yourself. Take care of yourself. Give yourself spa treatments at home… sleep in… do whatever feels healthy. And most importantly, allow everyone else to think what they want— don’t worry about them!

Virgo :: Virgo Rising

Pulling up cold, delicious water from a well. Let nothing distract you from how nourished and abundant you are. Focus. Keep connecting with your inner well of resources. The symbolic well is meant to remind you of your internal reserves. No matter what family or home situations arise, you are continuously abundant and resourceful. Allow yourself to feel joyous in this knowing.

Libra :: Libra Rising

Building sandcastles with a friend at the beach. Everything in the physical world is temporary and will wash away with the next wave. The fun is in the creation and connection. Revitalize old friendships. Accept your friends and family members for who they are.

Scorpio :: Scorpio Rising

Holding on to a long-stemmed rose. You have everything you need. If you grip too tightly out of fear, you might be pricked by a thorn. So just hold lightly to the idea that you are totally cared for. If this sounds like an impossible leap of faith, notice that your mindset is more flexible than usual. You just might be able to believe in abundance.

Farmers burn a field to revitalize the soil. You are experiencing an alignment of your personality. Through the process of burning away what no longer serves you, you attain a new level of security.

Capricorn or Capricorn Rising ::

A golden pyramid shining in the sunlight. You have your own stability. You are whole. The Full Moon on Friday in your relationship sector pushes you toward understanding “the other.” Relationships can bring us joy and they can teach us about ourselves. Regardless of whether or not you are currently in a relationship, there is plenty here to study. Raising consciousness about your thoughts of other people can help you see what you think about yourself. We are often projecting our own wishes and fears onto others. Take notice. Owning your “stuff” makes life so much easier! The image of the pyramid is reminding you that you are strong and whole.

Aquarius or Aquarius Rising ::

Many delicate white flowers. The flowers symbolize the perfection of nature. Love and honor the perfect order that is all around you. The Full Moon on Friday may illuminate a way for you to nurture this same order in your own mind. Use the arts of meditation, intention, and affirmation to create an orderly and peaceful mindset. Begin with emotions. Notice your emotions, honor your emotions and shift your thinking to create emotions that feel good.

Pisces or Pisces Rising ::

Ropes hanging down from the clouds. Pull yourself up to a new level of fun, fairytale, joy, and imagination. The Full Moon on Friday offers you the opportunity to foster the kind of imagination that came so naturally to you when you were a child. As adults, we have to be active participants with our imaginations. We have to open the door, open the window, climb up the rope and play in the nether regions of our minds. Nurture this part of yourself and your sense of joy will reach great heights.

Aries or Aries Rising ::

Friday’s Full Moon puts your focus on home and family. Some of us spend time with family at this time of year and some of us don’t- either way, thoughts of family are bound to come up during the holidays. Emotions can be anywhere on the spectrum of peaceful to painful when it comes to the subject of family. Family relationships become easier when we understand on a visceral level what is ours and what is not ours. When we know our own boundaries, emotions become more clear and less complicated. The idea of the locket is interesting because it is held next to the body on a chain, but it is clearly not of the body. It is separate. The locket suggests a cherishing that can be possible when we learn to differentiate between ourselves and our family. 

Taurus or Taurus Rising ::

The sound of laughter. Friday’s Full Moon is helping you learn and communicate. As the learning unfolds meditate on the sound of laughter. Why? Laughter is a primal communication of wellness. It is among the first sounds that a baby makes to communicate. Thinking about laughter and actually laughing will help you remember that you are safe and nurtured. Your learning curve may be high right now, but all is well. With perfectly humorous timing, you are right where you need to be. 

Gemini or Gemini Rising ::

Fresh bread slathered with butter. You are fully secure, sated and abundant. Look for proof of wealth everywhere around you. Even a bag of flour in your cupboard is proof of wealth if you want it to be. Abundance is a mental state and as a Gemini, you are comfortable with the tricks and turns of your mind. So if you are having a hard time garnering up a feeling of abundance, just trick yourself into it! Or, we could say, fine tune your thinking so that you see abundance everywhere you look. 

If you already have ease in your sense of abundance, then view the Full Moon on Friday as an opportunity to revel in it in true holiday fashion. 

Cancer or Cancer Rising ::

A train at full speed. This is all about knowing who you are and where you are going. Friday’s Full Moon is helping you understand yourself. Be thrilled by the speed of the train! As you intuitively follow your heart, you create the track ahead of you. Watch as it lights up. Do exactly what you want to do. Be exactly who you want to be. Relax into your intuitive knowing of who you are and where you are going and enjoy the ride.

Leo or Leo Rising ::

Roots moving deeper into the earth. Friday’s Full Moon brings you deep into secret chambers of your subconscious. Focus on this realm. This requires going inward. This requires slowing down. Give yourself a mini-retreat. During this time, study your dreams and meditate. You might even want to try a little self-hypnosis. All in an attempt to draw awareness to some of your subconscious thoughts. Think of your subconscious realm as your root system. It is what is underground, under the horizon. The strength of the root system is vital to the health of the plant. If you allow this inward growth to happen, in a very short time you will find yourself flourishing.

Virgo or Virgo Rising ::

Objects colliding in space. Friday’s Full Moon brings a bit of chaos into your universe. Don’t be afraid- it's possible that chaos is not your favorite thing! Sometimes the surprise of chaos is what is needed. Especially now when you are stepping into your future. Your future is not going to be the same old thing. You are about to download new inspirations and make new connections that will allow you to create an upgraded framework. This framework will allow for more creativity in your life.

Libra or Libra Rising::

A ladder to the sun. So much transition is happening. You are ready to define where you want to be. If you have been afraid of, or avoiding success you may decide to take notice of that on Friday’s Full Moon. If you have been comfortable with your sense of success you may define new goals and orient yourself toward them. This is your moment to climb your ladder to the top and survey the landscape. Are you comfortable in your ascent? What impact on society would you choose to have? How would you most like to be of service?

Scorpio or Scorpio Rising ::

Starfish at the bottom of the sea. The view of the sea floor is encouraging you to take on a new perspective. Over the last month you may have made discoveries about what you value. Next month you may take on new leadership roles. The Full Moon on Friday offers you a chance to zoom out, check out the big picture and define your path. Where do you want to go? Mental physical or spiritual exploration will help you decide. Remember, on your journeys, take the path of least resistance. Let it be intuitive and fun.

Sagittarius or Sagittarius Rising ::

Sparks flying through the air. Friday’s Full Moon brings you to a point of new understanding. A re-birth. You have learned and grown so much recently. You are now able to transition to the next level if you so choose. Allow your spark to transition into a flame. How to do this? A belief that you are not worthy will stamp out your spark. A belief in your inherent worthiness will fan the flame. Meditation on the connectedness of your spirit may help you believe in your own worthiness.

Bear teeth. You are powerful. So powerful that you don’t have to worry about being defensive. Be secure instead. Rest in your power like a bear who is not afraid to hibernate. Use this time to own your strength, heal and recuperate.

Aquarius :: Aquarius Rising

Masterful swimmer cutting strokes through the water. Allow your intuition to guide you on a clear and direct path. Words to focus on: fluid, strength, progress, intuition.

Pisces :: Pisces Rising

A cow eating grass. Her nose is in the dirt, smelling the earth. Find a way to stabilize yourself. It is from this place of groundedness that you will be able to find expansion.

Aries :: Aries Rising

Flames of a torch in the dark night. You are reaching high for some new light, some new knowledge. Keep seeking that philosophical spark that explains existence. You will shine a light for everyone in the process.

Taurus :: Taurus Rising

Long shadows of pine trees in the forest. Your shadow holds wisdom that is waiting for you. Don’t be afraid of your projections. Examine them. This is active work, not passive. For this you must choose active consciousness.

Gemini :: Gemini Rising

Guppies swimming together. A school of fish moves with instinctual awareness. You are so sensitive and you are constantly sorting through the information that filters to you through your environment. Get into the flow. Respond to the stimuli instinctually and without hesitation. Act and trust.

Cancer :: Cancer Rising

A drawer full of rings. Promises, commitments, partnerships. The commitment you make to yourself is what sets the tone for all other commitments. Show up for yourself by taking care of your well-being and interactions with others will become more rewarding.

Leo :: Leo Rising

An intricately folded napkin. Patience and precision yield great beauty. You are refining your approach so that you can shine on a new level.

Virgo :: Virgo Rising

Eyes shining in the darkness. The “eyes in the darkness” are mysterious. Approach the mystery with love and courage. There is wisdom just around the corner for you, it is yet to be revealed. You may have to do some digging in dark corners of your past, your childhood, your family, or your ancestral line to learn more. Ask questions.

Libra :: Libra Rising

A golden chalice. Use your shining intellect to focus on the feminine- the yin.You have arrived at a critical point in your understanding of receptivity. Your community may have much to teach you on this subject. Unite with them and drink from the same cup. Hold space for each other.

A blue spider in her web. A blue spider is creativity and contentment. The web is structure. Reflect and check out your inner structure. The inner work will help you raise your level of contentment.

Aquarius :: Aquarius Rising

A staircase leading up to a doorway. Elevate. Get a new perspective. There is some work to be done, some climbing. But once there you will be able to receive a new vision.

Pisces :: Pisces Rising

A dark tunnel leading to a bright light. The yin / yang of darkness and light. In our physical world we can’t have one without the other. Familiarize yourself with the fluidity of being in and being out. This is a moment for you to be in the spotlight- in the public view. You must become as comfortable with this as you are with being reclusive.

Aries :: Aries Rising

A hot air balloon lifting off. It’s time for you to journey. Puff yourself up and take off. It may be a mental or a physical journey. Let go of the familiar and begin an exploration.

Taurus :: Taurus Rising

An ornate sandcastle. Process, not product. You may have been feeling like you can’t trust other people but you are focusing on the wrong thing. You have to learn to trust the process of trusting. Trust so that you can feel the feeling of trust. Love so that you can feel the feeling of love.

Gemini :: Gemini Rising

Soap bubbles floating through the air. Gentle. Two soap bubbles either stick together or burst on contact. It is a delicate dance. Treat yourself with loving kindness. The more gentle you are with yourself, the more gentle you can be with others.

Cancer :: Cancer Rising

Pine needles on a branch. You are craving some kind of natural order. Eat healthy, nutritious foods. Rise with the sun. Make an extra effort to connect with nature.

Leo :: Leo Rising

An elephant splashing herself with water. You are larger than life. The center of attention. Let yourself take up space. Splash around. Your joy is cleansing to those around you. The world needs your medicine.

Virgo :: Virgo Rising

A jellyfish at the bottom of the sea. You may be feeling self-protective. Create an environment in which you feel at home. It can be a mental or physical environment. Make sure it is at least a little bit magical.

Libra :: Libra Rising

A nest with three blue eggs high in the branches of a tree. You are preparing for a rebirth. Your rebirth will bring you to an advanced level of mental processing. In your next chapter, you will be sharing close quarters with collaborators- learning, growing, communicating. All you need to do now is be patient and stay warm.

Scorpio :: Scorpio Rising

A waterfall gushing over the side of a cliff. Your resources are vast. Even overflowing.

If you try to collect and stockpile your resources, you will lose connection to the fluid force of the waterfall. You have to keep letting go. You have to keep letting yourself fall. In this moment, power comes from change.

Sagittarius or Sagittarius Rising

You are coming into your own. “Coming into your own” is knowing that you must stay in motion. There are no beginnings and no ends. Only transitions. You are the archer. Part of your JOY comes from following the arrow to see where it lands. If you were recently feeling stuck, you are not feeling that anymore. You must be brave right now. Brave enough to transition. To leap into the fire. To change your patterns of thought. To heal.

Capricorn or Capricorn Rising

It’s time to make decisions about what traditions you are continuing. Tradition can be something that is automatic. Right now you are being called to question, decide and act. What tradition (i.e. cultural, societal, or familial expectation) is right for you? What do you want to keep and what do you want to let go of? Some of these traditions / expectations are obvious and some are subconscious. You may have to muck around in your subconscious realm to get clear about what is causing your conscious thought formations. Don’t be afraid of the darkness and unknown of your subconscious mind. Remember the beautiful sacred geometric form that is reflecting colored light waves across your psyche. 

Aquarius or Aquarius Rising

You are learning about your interconnectedness with the whole universe. Sound big? It is. But it’s also small. It’s the macro and the micro. You can see your oneness represented in a small interaction or in a grand event. You are the sun and you touch everything. And everyone else is the sun and they touch everything too. 

The world needs you to be powerful right now. Your vision inspires.

Remember, your power is not about ego, it is about connection. 

Pisces or Pisces Rising

If you have been cautious, Mouse wants you to remember to let go of your fears. Mouse ventures out into the world even though she is small and unarmed. You don’t need all of the defenses that you may have acclimated yourself to. Lay down your arms. When you notice yourself being defensive- stop. You are safe. Tune into your NOW environment. Let your senses help you stay in the present moment.

Aries or Aries Rising

Get ready to travel. It might be a mental journey, it might be a physical journey. You are journeying so that you can fertilize new ideas and new relationships. To travel in this way you must be light and unencumbered so let go of whatever is weighing you down. Change the logistical things that are holding you back. Take flight.

Taurus or Taurus Rising

The rings around a planet. 

Now it’s your turn to meditate on the circle. There are no endings, only transitions. You may be facing an important transition.

It’s not always easy for you to transition. You would rather have the secure feeling of feet planted firmly on the ground. Your mantra has often been, “I know where I am, I know where I’m going.” Adjust your mantra to: “I understand the strength of my being, wherever I am- I am safe.”

Gemini or Gemini Rising

Oh my goodness, life is wonderful! Be like a child in a candy store. Expand your relationship with your inner child. What is the baby version of you craving that the adult version has been withholding? Sometimes it’s easiest to see how our inner child is doing by looking at the state of our relationships. There is a direct correlation here. Use your inquisitive spirit to learn more about your inner child. Make the inquiry light and fun.

Cancer or Cancer Rising

You are experiencing an incubation. Your incubation chamber has all of the nutrients and protection that you need to grow. You might know that you are great at nurturing others. But now you are directing all of that nurturing energy toward yourself. Take care. Rest. Do exactly what you need to do to be healthy. Don’t leave your incubation chamber until you know the moment is right.

Leo or Leo Rising

You are creating. Because you want to do a good job you are erasing and making adjustments.

Perfection can be a problem if it becomes a creative block.

Fill your heart with love and empathy and gently ask yourself if your need for perfection is helping or hindering you. Probably, the answer is a little of both, but it’s up to you to decide When and How Much.

Virgo or Virgo Rising

A sapphire turns into the ocean.

You twist the kaleidoscope. You see one beautiful image morph into another. How did you get the kaleidoscope? You relaxed. You put down your tools and you decided to use the power of your analytical mind to explore instead of refine. 

Libra or Libra Rising

Five fingers and five points of the star. Five = Mars and Mars is in your first house. So what does all this mean?
